Azerbaijan reviews 2024 military cooperation with foreign attachés PHOTO
A meeting was held at the Ministry of Defence's International Military Cooperation Department in Azerbaijan to review the outcomes of 2024, with foreign military attachés accredited in the country.
The event was attended by 34 representatives from foreign states, Caliber.Az reports via Defence Ministry.
Colonel Elchin Abdullayev, head of the department, highlighted Azerbaijan’s victory in the 44-day Patriotic War, which ended a 30-year occupation of its lands and dismantled the separatist regime, ensuring security in the South Caucasus. He underscored the significance of the country's military progress and the region's stability.
The meeting also focused on the military cooperation efforts throughout 2024, including visits to various regions by the attachés. In-depth discussions were held on Azerbaijan's future military goals, with an exchange of views on strategic plans for 2025.
The event concluded with a question-and-answer session, offering insights into the nation’s evolving defence strategies.
