Azerbaijan, Russia PMs hold phone talks on trade, infrastructure

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin held a phone call with Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov to discuss bilateral relations, the Russian government said.

According to the statement, the leaders reviewed key issues in trade, economic, and scientific-technical cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan.

They also explored ways to deepen collaboration within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Mishustin and Asadov emphasised the importance of advancing joint projects in industry, energy, transport infrastructure, and other sectors.
