Azerbaijan, Russia reaffirm commitment to allied Defence dialogue

Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Moscow, Rahman Mustafayev, held a meeting at Russia’s Ministry of Defence with Deputy Defence Minister Vasily Osipov.

According to information provided to domestic media by the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission, the discussion included an exchange of views on pressing issues related to Azerbaijan–Russia cooperation within the framework of the two countries’ defence ministries. The sides also reviewed the timetable for contacts and reciprocal visits scheduled for this year.

Both sides confirmed their constructive approach to further strengthening bilateral dialogue and cooperation in the military-political and military-technical fields, in accordance with the Declaration on Allied Interaction signed on February 22, 2022.
