Azerbaijan, Russia review regional tensions, international security agenda
On April 14, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, with discussions focusing on bilateral relations in political, economic, and humanitarian spheres, as well as regional and international security issues.
The importance of reciprocal visits and contacts for discussing the cooperation agenda was emphasised, Caliber.Az reports per the Foreign Ministry.
The sides noted the role of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation in the development of bilateral economic ties and discussed ongoing work within this mechanism.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest, with further prospects for cooperation also reviewed.
