Azerbaijan, Russia’s Sverdlovsk discuss reciprocal visits, strengthening ties for 2025
Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Rahman Mustafayev and Governor of Russia’s Sverdlovsk Region Yevgeny Kuyvashev have discussed plans for reciprocal visits in 2025.
During their meeting in Yekaterinburg, the two sides addressed issues related to expanding bilateral cooperation in trade and investment, as well as fostering twin-city relations between Azerbaijani cities and Sverdlovsk Region, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani embassy in Russia.
"Particular attention was given to organising reciprocal business delegations," the embassy said.
Rahman Mustafayev, who assumed his role as Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Russia earlier this year, was previously Azerbaijan's Ambassador to the Netherlands and Permanent Representative to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. His new appointment came through a presidential order signed by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on October 1, 2024.
