Azerbaijan’s defence industry minister attends joint military exercises in Pakistan VIDEO
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defence Industry, Vugar Mustafayev, has attended joint firing and manoeuvre exercises in Pakistan alongside King Abdullah II of Jordan.
The exercises took place at the Global Industrial and Defence Solutions (GIDS) and Tilla Field training grounds, where Mustafayev and other dignitaries observed the high level of professionalism and preparedness demonstrated by participating troops and flight crews, Caliber.Az reports per Pakistan Today.
The event was also attended by Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. During the exercises, multi-domain operations were showcased, including the use of conventional and aerial strike assets, coordinated manoeuvres, and wide-spectrum warfare capabilities employing multi-purpose drones in various configurations for different objectives.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep respect for King Abdullah II and the people of Jordan, noting that the visit reflects enduring friendship, mutual trust, and shared commitment to peace and development. Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir highlighted the strong defence partnership between Pakistan and Jordan, reaffirming Islamabad’s commitment to further military cooperation with Amman and the pursuit of a stable and peaceful region.
