Azerbaijan, Serbia deepen defence cooperation at Partner-2025 defence expo PHOTO
The Azerbaijani delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Defence Industry Hidayat Azimov, is participating in the 12th International Fair of Armaments and Military Equipment Partner-2025, in the Serbian capital Belgrade.
The exhibition, held every two years, showcases missile systems, modern small arms, manned and unmanned aerial vehicles, armoured vehicles, electronic warfare systems, and other advanced defence products, Caliber.Az reports, citing the ministry.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, Hidayat Azimov met with Serbian Deputy Minister of Defence Goran Momčilović and the CEO of the state-owned company Yugoimport SDPR, Jugoslav Petković. The parties exchanged views on the current state of Azerbaijan-Serbia cooperation in the defence industry, prospects for developing partnership ties, and opportunities to expand bilateral relations.
For the record, the Partner-2025 exhibition will run until September 26.
The PARTNER 2025, which is held every two years at the Belgrade Fair. This event is an opportunity to showcase manufacturers of armaments and military equipment, establish new and renew existing contacts and collaborations, and reposition themselves in the significant, valuable, and dynamic markets of Southeast Europe and the world.
