Azerbaijan, Spain hold political consultations to strengthen bilateral ties
On October 11, political consultations between the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Spain took place in Madrid, aimed at enhancing bilateral relations.
The Azerbaijani delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev, while the Spanish delegation was headed by State Secretary for Foreign and Global Affairs Diego Martinez Belio, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
During the discussions, the sides reviewed the current state of diplomatic ties and explored prospects for cooperation in political, economic, and humanitarian areas.
They emphasized the significance of maintaining ongoing political dialogue and the need for high-level meetings and reciprocal visits to bolster their partnership.
Additionally, the development of a relevant legal framework to facilitate expanded cooperation across various sectors was highlighted as a key focus of the discussions.
