Azerbaijan, Syria focus on post-conflict reconstruction cooperation

Azerbaijan and Syria have discussed opportunities for cooperation in reconstruction and development in the post-conflict period.

Chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture, Anar Guliyev, made the remarks during a meeting with Syria’s Minister of Public Works and Housing, Mustafa Abdel Razzaq, and the Governor of Damascus, Maher Marwan, held on the sidelines of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), Caliber.Az reports via local media.

“During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the field of housing policy, urban planning, as well as reconstruction and development in the post-conflict period were discussed,” the State Committee said in a post on its X account.

Anar Guliyev also shared Azerbaijan’s experience within the framework of the Great Return program.
