Azerbaijan, Türkiye hail successful cooperation in all spheres

Azerbaijani Minister of Defence Industry Vugar Mustafayev has met with a delegation led by President of the Defence Industry Council under the Turkish Presidential Administration Haluk Gorgun.

During the meeting Mustafayev emphasised the successful cooperation between the two countries in all spheres, in particular, in the defence industry, and expressed hope that this cooperation will continue developing, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence Industry told Caliber.Az.

The minister noted that Türkiye and Azerbaijan, as strategic allies, always support each other at the international level. Mustafayev informed the guests about the ongoing reforms in the Azerbaijani defence industry, the results and plans for the future.

While speaking about the importance of joint activity for the further development of the Azerbaijani defence industry, Gorgun emphasised that relations between the two countries, based on mutual trust and support, are successfully developing.

The heads of such companies as ASELSAN, ASFAT, ASSAN, HAVELSAN, Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation, REPKON Group, ROKETSAN, Defence Technologies and Engineering, TUSAS attended the meeting. The cooperation prospects were discussed during the meeting.

Following the meeting, memorandums of understanding envisaging joint activity in several spheres were signed between the companies included in the Turkish delegation and the Azerbaijani defence companies.
