Azerbaijan, UAE exchange views on strengthening bilateral, multilateral ties PHOTO
Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev and UAE’s Assistant Minister for Political Affairs Lana Nusseibeh have discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation in multilateral formats.
The talks were held during the third round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi on February 11, the Azerbaijani foreign ministry told Caliber.Az.
During the consultations, the parties exchanged views on the current situation and future prospects of bilateral relations in political, economic, energy, and humanitarian fields.
They also discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation within international organisations such as the United Nations, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, and the Non-Aligned Movement.
Both sides highly praised their mutual cooperation during the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
