Azerbaijan unveils tourism potential at Austria’s exhibition
Vienna Holiday Fair (Ferien Messe Wien) is Austria's biggest tourism fair, the international event for holidays, travel and leisure being.
The fair is being held in Vienna’s Messe Wien Exhibition and Congress Centre on March 14-17, according to Azertac.
Azerbaijan’s stand has been prepared by the State Tourism Agency through the support of the Azerbaijani embassy and the Azerbaijani Cultural Centre in Austria.
The visitors are informed about Azerbaijan’s history, culture, and tourism potential. The booklets, souvenirs, Azerbaijani sweets and drinks are given to the visitors. The videos reflecting Azerbaijan’s tourism potential are shown.
The visitors are also able to book trips from Azerbaijani tour operators.
A concert programme was also demonstrated as part of the event, during which dancers of the Azerbaijani State Dance Ensemble performed national dances.
Deputy Chairperson of the State Tourism Agency Azada Huseynova, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Austria Rovshan Sadigbayli and CEO of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board Florian Sengstschmid are taking part in the exhibition.
