Azerbaijan, Venezuela enjoy prospects for expanding cooperation

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Venezuelan Minister of the People's Power for Foreign Affairs Yvan Gil Pinto as part of his participation in the 19th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).

the agenda of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Venezuela in humanitarian, cultural and other spheres, as well as bilateral and multilateral contacts were discussed during the meeting, the foreign ministry told Caliber.Az.

Highlighting the agenda of active bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Venezuela, the ministers emphasized the existence of prospects for expanding cooperation opportunities between the two countries in all fields, including education, tourism and other ones.

During the meeting, the sides hailed the importance of political consultations held between the two countries' foreign policy institutions for strengthening the Azerbaijan-Venezuela relations, and exchanged views on the next political consultations.

The FMs also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
