Azerbaijani, Bahraini FMs talk cooperation, security in vital diplomatic call
On March 19, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Bahraini counterpart, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, engaged in a productive phone call to discuss a range of important topics, including international security and bilateral cooperation.
Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's press service told Caliber.Az that the two diplomats exchanged insights on advancing both bilateral and multilateral collaboration between their countries, with a focus on regional and global security concerns.
They also took the opportunity to extend warm wishes for the upcoming Novruz and Ramadan holidays.
The discussion delved into several critical areas of cooperation, such as boosting trade relations, enhancing energy security, and exploring opportunities for joint action within global and regional institutions like the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
One of the key highlights was Azerbaijan’s growing involvement in Bahrain’s “Manama Dialogue” initiative.
Both ministers emphasized the importance of this platform in addressing pressing security challenges, marking another milestone in the strengthening of Azerbaijan-Bahrain relations.
