Azerbaijani caviar to be exported to European market

The Azerbaijani Food Security Agency (AQTA) Azerbaijani caviar will be exported to the European market.

It was noted that the Agency developed and successfully implemented a plan for monitoring of fishery and aquaculture products in fish farms in 2022, Report informs.

After analysis of the monitoring results by the Health and Food Safety Directorate of the European Commission, Azerbaijan was included in the list of third countries or their regions which are allowed to enter the European Union for products of animal origin intended for human consumption.

Thus, Azerbaijan now has the opportunity to export to the EU caviar produced at enterprises operating in accordance with the requirements of the European Union.
