Azerbaijani defence minister awards group of servicemen PHOTO

Azerbaijani Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has presented awards to a group of servicemen.

Under an order signed by Hasanov, Deputy Defence Minister and Commander of the Air Force, Lieutenant General and Hero of the Patriotic War Namig Islamzade, was awarded a Certificate of Honour, Caliber.Az reports, citing the ministry.

Commander of the Special Forces, Major General and Hero of the Patriotic War Akbar Jahangirov, was awarded the Second Degree Medal for Distinction in Military Service.

Earlier, Zakir Hasanov awarded Deputy Defence Minister and Director General Agil Gurbanov the Medal "For Services in the Field of Military Cooperation."

Major General Elmir Ibrahimov was awarded the 1st Degree Medal "For Distinction in Military Service," while Major General Elnur Kazimov and Colonel Teymur Mammadov were presented with the Medal "For Courage."
