Azerbaijani defence minister receives Kazakhstan’s new military attaché
Colonel Salauat Khayrushev, the newly appointed military attaché of Kazakhstan in Azerbaijan, was formally introduced to Azerbaijani Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov on January 7.
During the meeting, Hasanov congratulated Khayrushev on his new role, highlighting that Azerbaijani-Kazakh relations are rooted in friendship, brotherhood, and a rich historical tradition, Caliber.Az reports via the Defence Ministry.
The minister wished the attaché success in strengthening military cooperation between the two countries.
Khayrushev expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and pledged to work toward further enhancing military ties during his tenure.
The discussion also covered the current state and future prospects of collaboration in military, defence-technical, and military-educational areas, alongside exchanges on other matters of mutual interest.
