The delegation was further strengthened by the presence of Guldana Dadashova, Deputy Chairperson of the National Council of Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan (NAYORA), and Elnur Arifzada from the Goranboy Youth House.
During the proceedings, Dadashova contributed to a joint panel discussion focused on “Advancing Implementation of the World Program of Action for Youth to Leave No One Behind,” highlighting Azerbaijan’s commitment to inclusive youth development and empowerment.
Throughout the visit, Azerbaijani delegates engaged in a series of events and bilateral meetings as part of the broader Youth Festival. These interactions provided valuable opportunities for exchanging insights and fostering international collaboration on youth-related initiatives.
The high-level UNGA youth event convened a diverse array of participants, including member states, ministers, civil society leaders, and youth representatives. Together, they reflected on three decades of progress under the World Program of Action for Youth, celebrated milestones achieved, and deliberated on strategic pathways for future cooperation to ensure that young people worldwide are not left behind.
