Azerbaijani diaspora leader visits Ukraine defence brigade in Kyiv

Chairman of the United Diaspora of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine (ODAU) Hikmat Javadov has visited Kyiv Region's 114th Separate Territorial Defence Brigade.

During the visit to the unit, the head of the ODAU inquired about the needs of the defenders of Ukraine and provided information about the feasible assistance provided by the Azerbaijani diaspora to the Ukrainian army and the war-affected population, Media.Az reports.

He also spoke about Azerbaijan's support for Ukraine. According to Javadov, in March, the first-aid kits sewn in Baku were handed over to Kyiv Region's 114th Separate Territorial Defence Brigade from ODAU.

At the end of the meeting, the head of the ODAU donated a generator to the military unit. The servicemen of the brigade thanked for the assistance provided, noting the active assistance from the Azerbaijani diaspora.
