Azerbaijani FM discusses multifaceted cooperation with Turkish and Russian counterparts at Antalya Diplomacy Forum PHOTO

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has held separate meetings with his Turkish and Russian counterparts on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, addressing a wide range of bilateral and multilateral issues.

According to Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bayramov met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss key areas of cooperation between the two strategic partners, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

The agenda included political dialogue, economic collaboration, transport and communication links, humanitarian initiatives, and security matters of mutual concern. Both sides also reviewed coordination within regional and international platforms, reaffirming the depth of the Azerbaijan-Türkiye alliance.

In a separate meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Bayramov exchanged views on the current state and prospects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation. Discussions covered political, trade and economic ties, as well as humanitarian and educational initiatives. The two ministers also touched on pressing regional and international issues.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry emphasized the importance of sustained high-level contacts and visits in advancing dialogue on key matters. Both sides noted the productive nature of cooperation within various multilateral formats, including trilateral and quadrilateral mechanisms.

Speaking on the second day of the Forum, Minister Bayramov expressed satisfaction with the growing global interest in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

"It is gratifying to see that interest in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum is growing every year," Bayramov said in comments to Azerbaijani media, as reported by the Turkish bureau of Report news agency.

The minister noted that he has taken part in the forum annually:
"Under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijani delegation has participated in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum for the fourth time. Both the delegation and I have been present at every edition of the Forum."

Bayramov emphasized that the number of participants and the level of discussions at the Forum have increased year by year, effectively turning it into one of the most significant international platforms.

"Naturally, this is a source of pride for us. I believe that, after the host country Türkiye, Azerbaijan has the largest delegation represented here," he said.
