Azerbaijani FM discusses notable achievements with South Korean outgoing ambassador PHOTO
On December 24, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Lee Eun Yong discussed the agenda of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
The sides met to mark the conclusion of Lee Eun Yong’s term of diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Caliber.Az.
Bayramov expressed gratitude to Ambassador Lee Eun Yong for his efforts during his diplomatic tenure in strengthening the Azerbaijan-Korea relations and wished him success in his future endeavors.
The meeting focused on the current state and future prospects of cooperation in various sectors, including the economy, investments, transportation and communications, education, and other fields.
Notable achievements highlighted during the discussion included the dual degree programme between Inha University of the Republic of Korea and Baku Engineering University, as well as the establishment of the Baku State Industry and Innovation Vocational Education Centre, created as part of the joint collaboration.
There was also emphasis on the vast opportunities for cooperation in the field of public services. The ambassador expressed gratitude for the support extended to him during his tenure in Azerbaijan and conveyed hope for the continued development of the Azerbaijan-Korea relations.
