24 November 2022 12:02

Azerbaijan’s National Security Council held a conference titled "Experiences from the Patriotic War" on November 24 with the aim of analyzing the results of the War and exchanging the gathered information with all relevant governmental structures.

As APA reported, the First Deputy of the State Security Service General Lieutenant Shadlinskiy warned in his speech that it is a worrisome development that military equipment is being deployed to Azerbaijani territories where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed with the goal of carrying out various provocations.

He noted, that Armenia was allocating financial resources that exceed its capabilities to the arming and construction of its army and is attempting to purchase advanced military weapons and equipment from various countries while trying by all possible means to delay the signing of a peace treaty with Azerbaijan.

"Revanchist forces in Armenia are trying by all possible means to disturb the efforts aimed at normalizing the relationship between the two states", the General Lieutenant noted.

Shadlinskiy also pointed to the fact, that Azerbaijan’s southern neighbour Iran is actively engaged in harmful intelligence activities against our country of subversive nature, according to APA.

The event was attended by high-ranking officials, including the Secretary of the Security Council Ramil Usubov, Minister of Defence Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, First Deputy of the State Security Service General Lieutenant Jeyhun Shadlinskiy, Director of the State Special Communications and IT Security General Lieutenant Ilgar Musayev, Director of the State Security Agency for Strategic Objects Major General Ilgar Abbasaov, management staff of legislative and other state bodies, as well as representatives of Türkiye’s Armed Forces General Staff and National Security Council.
