Azerbaijani, Israeli ambassadors meet in Berlin

Israeli Ambassador to Germany met with his Azerbaijani counterpart in this country Nasimi Agayev.

Ambassador Ron Prosor announced the meeting on Twitter on October 13, according to Caliber.Az.

“Did you know Israel was one of the first countries to recognize Azerbaijan in 1991? It was a pleasure meeting Ambassador
NasimiAghayev today. Although we are both new in Berlin, we represent two states who share a deeply rooted friendship," he wrote.

Ambassador Aghayev, for his part, said: "Thank you, dear Ambassador, for the warm welcome and great meeting. The friendship between Azerbaijan and Israel is indeed strong, unique and exemplary, built on the centuries-old bonds between our 2 people."
