Azerbaijan’s security chief attends CIS council meeting in Moscow
Azerbaijan’s Security Council Secretary, Colonel General Ramil Usubov took part in the 13th meeting of the Security Council Secretaries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), held in Moscow.
The discussions focused on strengthening security across the CIS, countering radical ideologies, protecting spiritual and moral values, enhancing humanitarian cooperation, and promoting both international and regional stability, Caliber.Az reports.
During the session, Usubov outlined Azerbaijan’s efforts to advance cooperation among CIS member states and its initiatives to promote peace and development in the South Caucasus.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Usubov held bilateral talks with Sergei Shoigu, Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation. The two officials discussed ways to deepen cooperation in ensuring regional security and stability.
