Azerbaijani, Japanese top officials discuss post-conflict situation in South Caucasus

Assistant to the First Vice President of Azerbaijan, Elchin Amirbekov, discussed on March 30 the post-conflict situation and peacebuilding in the South Caucasus with Japanese State Minister of Foreign Affairs Yamada Kenji.

Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Japan Gursel Ismayilzade wrote about the meeting on Twitter, per Caliber.Az.

"Assistant to the First Vice-President of Azerbaijan Elchin Amirbekov met with Mr Yamada Kenji, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan and discussed the post-conflict situation and peacebuilding in the South Caucasus, as well as further development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Japan," he wrote.
