Azerbaijani PM discusses cooperation with Russian health minister
Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko on July 12 to discuss bilateral cooperation in healthcare, medical education and medical science, Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers has stated.
It said the sides highlighted the significance of the latest graduation ceremony held by the Baku branch of the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, Caliber.Az reports.
The branch, which plays an important role in training highly qualified medical professionals, was described as one of the successful examples of Azerbaijani-Russian cooperation.
The talks focused on the current state and prospects of a mutually beneficial partnership between Azerbaijan and Russia in healthcare, medical education and medical research.
The meeting was also attended by Azerbaijani Health Minister Teymur Musayev, university rector Pyotr Glybochko and rector of the university's Baku branch Aziz Aliyev.
