Azerbaijani president orders creation of permanent jobs in liberated lands
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has instructed to ensure the economic revival in the liberated territories, to create an entrepreneurial environment and permanent jobs.
Samira Musayeva, deputy head of the State Tax Service under the Economy Ministry, made the relevant remarks at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on economic policy, industry and entrepreneurship on November 10, APA reports.
According to her, with the exception of banks, business entities that will be registered in these territories will be able to take advantage of tax benefits: "Taxpayers who will be registered in the exempt territories will receive benefits for 10 years for property and land taxes. This includes non-sale income. Imports of raw materials for production areas will also be exempt from taxes for 10 years. In addition, given the tourist potential of the exempted lands, the percentage rate for VAT refund is set at 30 per cent.
