Azerbaijani presidential aide highlights vision for lasting peace in South Caucasus at Doha discussion alongside Armenian security chief
Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, participated in a high-level panel discussion at the Doha Forum alongside Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan.
Hajiyev shared details of the discussion on his X account, noting that the session was held under the theme: “Armenia–Azerbaijan Lasting Peace: The Washington Accord and a Shared Future,” moderated by journalist David Hearst, as per Caliber.Az.

"We discussed the steps taken in terms of implementing the Washington arrangements, including the economic benefit of peace, connectivity, confidence-building measures, etc. I highlighted the strong intention of Azerbaijan to transform the region of South Caucasus into the zone of sustainable peace and prosperity," Hajiyev wrote.
