Azerbaijani prosecutor general declares ties with Türkiye as strategic partnership PHOTO
Azerbaijani Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev has stated that the relationship between Azerbaijan and Türkiye has evolved into a strategic partnership.
Aliyev made these remarks at a meeting with President of the Turkish Constitutional Court Kadir Ozkaya, who is on a working visit to Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports citing the local media.
During the meeting, participants expressed satisfaction with the current level of cooperation among the prosecutor's offices, justice systems, and judicial bodies within the Organisation of Turkic States. The upcoming third meeting of the Council of Prosecutors General of the Organisation of Turkic States in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan in July 2024 exemplifies the effective collaboration between law enforcement agencies of the member countries.
Ozkaya highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, noting their extensive reach across various sectors. He underscored the importance of enhancing business ties between Azerbaijani and Turkish legal professionals, emphasizing the value of mutual visits and the exchange of expertise.
Turkish Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci was also present at the meeting.
