Baku, Amman coordinate closely on global stage, Azerbaijani top official tells Jordan media
Hikmet Hajiyev, the Azerbaijani president’s aide, has stated that Azerbaijan and Jordan continue to closely coordinate their actions at international forums and maintain a unified stance on issues of mutual interest, including the Palestinian cause.
In an interview with the Jordan News Agency (Petra), Hajiyev reaffirmed the strength and depth of Azerbaijani-Jordanian relations at all levels, describing them as brotherly and friendly, Caliber.Az reports.
The top official praised the solid ties between the two countries, based on the principles established by the leadership of both states.
He highlighted the close and ongoing interaction between King Abdullah II and President Ilham Aliyev as the cornerstone of bilateral cooperation.
The presidential aide also underscored the significance of Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II’s visit to Baku last year and his meeting with President Ilham Aliyev on the sidelines of the 29th UN Climate Change Conference (COP29). He described these talks as fruitful and crucial for the development of bilateral cooperation.
