Baku, Ankara strengthen cooperation in judicial, legal fields PHOTO

Delegation led by Chief Prosecutor of the Turkish Supreme Court, Muhsin Şentürk, visited the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan on October 1.

Inam Karimov Supreme Court chair highlighted the fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, stating that the ties between the two countries are successfully developing in all areas, Caliber.Az reports via press service of the Supreme Court.

It was emphasised that cooperation in the judicial and legal sphere has been further strengthened as a result of reciprocal visits and the exchange of experiences.

During the meeting, attention was drawn to the ongoing efforts to align the operations of the courts in Azerbaijan with modern requirements, expand electronic services, enhance the professionalism of judges, and humanise sentencing policies.

Appreciating the bilateral relations Şentürk underscored the special attention given to the development of these connections.

The meeting also addressed issues of mutual interest.
