Baku, Bangkok pledge to strengthen comprehensive cooperation
Baku and Bangkok have agreed to further deepen their comprehensive bilateral cooperation.
Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Elnur Mammadov, held a meeting with Thailand’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sihasak Phuangketkeow, to discuss avenues for enhancing collaboration across multiple sectors, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.

“FM SihasakPh discussed with H.E. Mr. Elnur Mammadov, FM Azerbaijan, congratulating the Azerbaijani side on the official opening of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Thailand. They expressed commitment to further enhancing coop. in trade, investment, private sector networks, energy transition and renewable energy, connectivity, agriculture, food security, AI and EV,” the post reads.
On December 11, Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov attended the event and raised Azerbaijan’s national flag outside the building that will house the new diplomatic mission.
Mammadov and Thailand’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vijavat Isarabhakdi, jointly cut a symbolic ribbon to mark the embassy’s opening.
