A NATO Mobile Training Team from the Allied Joint Force Command in Brunssum, the Netherlands, has launched a course in Azerbaijan as part of the 2025 Individual Partnership Cooperation Programme between the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan and NATO.
Lieutenant General Azer Aliyev, Chief of the Main Operational Department of the Ministry of Defence, welcomed participants at the opening ceremony, underscoring the significance of such initiatives in enhancing Azerbaijan-NATO military collaboration, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Defence Ministry.
He noted that Azerbaijani servicemen have successfully applied lessons learned from past NATO-led activities in their operational duties.
The course, held at the War Games Centre of Azerbaijan’s National Defence University, includes briefings on NATO’s organisational structure and lessons from exercises and operations.
Participants will also engage in both theoretical and practical sessions covering operational planning, management, and other NATO-related topics.
