Belarus, Iran interested in expansion of ties in transport sector
Belarusian Transport and Communications Minister Aleksei Avramenko met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Belarus Saeed Yari, have expressed interest in deepening cooperation in various areas in the transport sector.
"Transport and logistics are the most important priorities in the joint work of the two countries. We have enough opportunities to realize our plans to expand cooperation," Avramenko said on November 10, according to the Belarusian news website BelTA.
The two sides also looked into the issues of abolishing the permit system for international road transport, launching air service between the two countries and developing transportation using the infrastructure of the international North-South transport corridor.
