Belarusian delegation explores Azerbaijan's cultural heritage at Heydar Aliyev Centre PHOTO
Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Natalia Kochanova has explored Azerbaijan's cultural heritage at Heydar Aliyev Centre in Baku.
The guest was informed about the Centre, which is considered one of the most remarkable examples of world architecture. It was highlighted that the Centre’s activities focus on exploring the philosophy of statehood, the ideology of Azerbaijani national identity and the legacy of Heydar Aliyev, Caliber.Az reports.
The key aspects of Heydar Aliyev’s activities during both the Soviet era and the years of independence are virtually displayed in the Heydar Aliyev Museum.
Kochanova viewed the cars used by the national leader from 1969 to 2003, as well as exhibits, photographs, and multimedia materials showcasing various stages of his career. A particular point of interest was the "Gems of Azerbaijan" exhibition, which features rare artifacts reflecting the country's natural wealth, history, and culture.
The guest was also informed about Azerbaijani crafts, the art of carpet weaving, ancient musical instruments, and national costumes. After exploring the musical instruments, Kochanova visited the "Dolls Exhibition" and the Azerbaijani carpet display titled "Dance of Patterns". The visit left her with pleasant impressions.
