The British MP stands against restricting Azerbaijan's voting rights in PACE.

During the first meeting of the winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), which began in Strasbourg on January 22, the British MP condemned the decision of his colleagues who proposed to appeal the Azerbaijani delegation’s powers, Report informs.

Member of the UK’s delegation to PACE Ian Liddell-Grainger, during a speech at the PACE, called on his colleagues to be careful in this issue.

“This is the wrong decision. Such a step will not lead to any positive outcome. We must be very careful in making such decisions,” he said.
