Cargo transport from Baku port to Switzerland expanding

The total cargo transported to Switzerland via the Baku port in the first 11 months of 2022 amounted to 142,309 tons, which is 2.4 times more than in the same period last year (58,656 tons).

This was stated during the visit of a high-level Swiss delegation to the Baku port, Report informs.

According to the information, the transported goods mainly consisted of fuel, lubricants, industrial, food and chemical products, raw materials, machinery and transport equipment.

The volume of transit cargo transported from Asia to Switzerland in January-November 2022 increased by 143 per cent compared to the same period last year.
