Chechen leader Kadyrov prepares to send underage sons to Ukraine VIDEO
The head of Chechnya, a federal republic within Russia, Ramzan Kadyrov expressed his readiness to send his underage sons to the Ukrainian frontlines.
He made this announcement on his Telegram channel by posting a video of his children training at a combat army camp.
"The grandchildren of the first President of the Chechen Republic, Hero of Russia Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov - Akhmat, Eli and Adam are 16, 15, and 14 years old respectively."
"But their military training began a long time ago, almost from an early age. It's not enough just to know how to shoot" he wrote.
Kadyrov added that "I always believed that the main goal of any father is to instill piety in his sons and teach them to protect the family, the people, the Fatherland. […] If you want peace, prepare for war!"
The Chechen leader who is a close ally of President Vladimir Putin has been a vivid supporter of his military operation in Ukraine since its beginning.
Kadyrov has repeatedly made controversial statements, asking to take more aggressive measures in the military operation. He has recently called on Moscow to finally consider using low-yield nuclear
weapons in Ukraine, following the retreat of Russian forces from multiple important positions.
Commenting on Kadyrov's calls, the Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, called them "driven by emotions", according to TASS.
Peskov said that "even in difficult moments, emotions must be excluded while making assessments," and added "we prefer to stick to well-balanced, objective assessments".
A report by the Times from October 3 contradicts those reassuring statements, citing a Polish defence analyst claiming that a train operated by the secretive nuclear division was destined for Ukraine.
