China, Azerbaijan resume cargo transportation by block trains

Cargo transportation from China to Azerbaijan by container block trains has been resumed after a short break.

The train departing from the Chinese city of Xi'an has already arrived at the Port of Baku. A total of 110 TEU of cargo, namely, electric vehicles, building materials and industrial products, were supplied from China to Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Railways company told Azertac.

The cargo was transported along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route within the cooperation among Xian Free Trade Port Construction and Operation, KTZ Express and ADY Container LLC.

ADY Container LLC is expanding cooperation with Chinese companies to organise new freight transportation through block trains.
