Cooperation with UAE - one of priorities of Azerbaijani defence industry Minister at UMEX-2024

The UMEX-2024 Unmanned Systems Exhibition and Conference kicked off in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on January 23.

The Azerbaijani delegation led by Minister of Defence Industry Vugar Mustafayev is taking part in the exhibition, the Ministry of Defence Industry told Caliber.Az.

During the visit, Mustafayev visited the Halcon, Al Tariq, Lahab, Nimr and Caracal enterprises, which are part of the Tawazun industrial park, which is the basis of the UAE’s military-industrial complex, viewed their production facilities and also discussed the further cooperation issues and the process of organising mutual visits.

Mustafayev emphasised during a meeting with UAE Minister of State for Defence Affairs Mohammed bin Mubarak Fadel Al Mazrouei and Chairman of the Board of directors of EDGE Group Faisal Al Bannai that cooperation with the UAE is one of the priority spheres of the Azerbaijani defence industry. Mustafayev invited the meeting participants for the fifth Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition ADEX-2024, to be held in Baku.

The representatives from 26 countries are taking part in the UMEX-2024 exhibition, which will last until January 25.
