Cuban media highlights Khojaly genocide

Prensa Latina news agency, one of the influential Cuban media outlet, has published an article by Azerbaijani Ambassador to the country Ruslan Rzayev headlined "Khojaly - a crime against humanity" (Jodyalí, un crimen de lesa humanidad).

Azerbaijani Embassy in Cuba told Report that the article notes that mass murders, genocide and ethnic cleansing committed against peaceful Azerbaijanis who historically lived on these lands are a violation of the fundamental rights not only of the population of Khojaly, but also of the whole of Karabakh.

The article also underlines that the Khojaly genocide has been recognized by international organizations such as the Organization of Turkic States, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, as well as a number of foreign countries, including in Latin America.
