Drone attack on minibus in Russia’s Bryansk region kills one, injures five
On October 27, a civilian minibus was hit by a drone strike in the town of Pogar in Russia’s Bryansk region, killing the driver and injuring five passengers, regional governor Alexander Bogomaz said.
According to Caliber.Az, the attack occurred in the Pogar district, where the vehicle was travelling with local residents on board. The injured were taken to the hospital, though Bogomaz did not specify their condition. “All necessary support and financial assistance will be provided,” he wrote on Telegram.
Emergency services were deployed to the scene, while Russian air defences reportedly intercepted additional drones across several regions overnight.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said 13 drones were intercepted as they neared the capital, bringing the total number destroyed over the wider Moscow region to 30.
The Defence Ministry told the state news agency that Russian air defences had intercepted a total of 193 Ukrainian drones overnight across various parts of the country, including 40 over the Moscow region.
Earlier, the Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports temporarily suspended take-offs and landings amid the wave of drone attacks.
