Event in Hague discusses rights of Western Azerbaijanis PHOTO

Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Western Azerbaijani Community MP Ramil Hasan took part in the next event of the Institute of the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities.

The event, held on October 24 in The Hague (Netherlands) and dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the organization, discussed topics such as the situation in the field of protecting the rights of national minorities in the OSCE space, the implementation by the participating states of OSCE commitments and recommendations in this area, as well as the link between the protection of the rights of national minorities, peace and security, the community told Caliber.Az.

Ramil Hasan informed the meeting in detail about the expulsion of Azerbaijanis from Armenia, emphasizing that Armenia’s actions contradict international norms on the rights of national minorities, other aspects of international human rights and relevant OSCE documents.
