Georgia’s security chief engages in cooperation talks during Baku forum
Head of Georgia’s State Security Service (SSS), Mamuka Mdinaradze, has participated in the Baku Security Forum, which brought together leaders of intelligence and security agencies from 95 countries.
During his visit, held from September 19 to 21, Mdinaradze conducted a series of closed-door meetings with representatives from around ten countries. Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and addressing key security challenges, Caliber.Az reports via the Georgian SSS.
“The annual Baku Security Forum is a platform for business meetings between leaders responsible for security and intelligence in different countries, where they deepen cooperation and exchange important information,” the agency said in a statement.
The third edition of the Forum officially opened on September 21 under the theme “Interaction of Security Agencies in Prevention of Humanitarian Crisis and Global Manmade Disasters during Terror Attacks and Armed Conflicts.”
The event concluded with participating delegations adopting the Declaration and Statute of the Baku Security Forum, setting the framework for further cooperation among national security services.
Mdinaradze’s official visit to Baku has now ended.
