IAEA chief hails good relations with Azerbaijan

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has excellent cooperation with Azerbaijan, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi told reporters on March 2.

Grossi noted that the IAEA cooperates with Azerbaijan in many areas, including nuclear medicine and agriculture.

“We have good indicators in the field of increasing yields in cotton growing. Some people do not associate such areas with the IAEA, but they are also important. We help Azerbaijan with the development of the economy,” the director general said, according to Report.
 
Grossi is taking part in the ongoing Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement Contact Group on Response to COVID-19 in Baku.
