Incoming Egyptian ambassador assumes post in Baku

The newly appointed Ambassador of Egypt to Azerbaijan, Houssam-Eldine Reda, has arrived in Baku to begin his diplomatic mission.

Ambassador Reda is set to present his credentials in the coming days and commence his official duties, marking a new chapter in Egyptian-Azerbaijani diplomatic relations, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Ambassador Reda’s appointment was formalized in May under a decree issued by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. He was named Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, underscoring Cairo’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties with Baku across political, economic, and cultural spheres.
