Iran eliminates anti-government militants in Kurdistan Province PHOTO

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the elimination of an armed group of internal members of anti-government terrorist organisations in northwestern Iran’s Kurdistan Province, according to Irib News.

The operation, carried out on March 7, 2026, was part of joint intelligence and preventive actions coordinated with the “Anonymous Soldiers of Imam Zaman,” according to the Hamza Seyed al-Shuhada database.

One member of the group was reportedly killed, six were detained, and a substantial cache of weapons—including Kalashnikov rifles, RPG-7s, and grenades—was seized from the militants.
