Iran warns of hostility towards countries granting airspace to Israel
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that Iran would view any country that opens its airspace to Israel as an enemy.
Addressing representatives of various nations, Araghchi emphasized the gravity of this stance, stating, “We have already told the representatives of other countries that we will consider as an enemy anyone who gives Israel its airspace,” Caliber.Az reports per Iranian media.
He expressed hope that no nation would permit such access, highlighting Iran's commitment to countering perceived threats from Israel. This warning underscores ongoing tensions in the region and the complex geopolitical dynamics surrounding Iran and Israel.
Iran launched dozens of missiles toward Israel on October 1 in what it said was a response to the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and others – potentially taking the region closer to a wider conflict. Dozens of missiles piercing through the skies were observed as sirens blasted across the country.
At least one person was killed and several were injured during the attack, according to the Israeli military.
