Iranian deputy FM highlights deep Iran-Azerbaijan ties during Baku visit
Vahid Jalalzadeh, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular, Parliamentary, and Iranian Expatriate Affairs, has said that the deep and enduring ties between the peoples of Iran and Azerbaijan are a valuable asset for building relations based on trust and shared interests.
“During my trip to the Republic of Azerbaijan and consultations with the officials of the country, I became even more convinced that the numerous and unique commonalities, as well as the deep and enduring connections between our two peoples, constitute a valuable capital for establishing relations based on trust and shared interests, which can bring peace, security, and prosperity to both peoples and the entire region,” Caliber.Az quotes Jalalzadeh as saying X.

Jalalzadeh also shared photos from his meetings with Azerbaijani officials during the visit, including with the Azerbaijani president’s aide Hikmet Hajiyev, and Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
