Israeli President Isaac Herzog visited an artificial intelligence centre in Astana as part of his official trip to the country, where he was briefed on Kazakhstan’s progress in digitalisation and AI integration.
According to the Kazakh president's press service, Herzog toured the Alem AI centre and reviewed key achievements in the use of artificial intelligence across various sectors of the economy and the social sphere.
During the visit, both Herzog and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev were also presented with a project focused on developing intelligent urban infrastructure in the Kazakh capital.
Alem AI is described as an international artificial intelligence hub in Kazakhstan, designed as a comprehensive ecosystem spanning eight floors and aimed at fostering innovation and technological development.
Herzog arrived in Kazakhstan on April 27 for an official visit and was received by President Tokayev as part of bilateral engagements between the two countries.
